The most transported cargo groups on the Estonian Railways infrastructure were liquid mineral fuels, bulk cargo and oil shale.<\/p>\n\n<p>The volume of local transport was almost 2 million tons, which decreased by 25% compared to the previous year. In 2023, transit transport accounted for a total of approximately 2.1 million tons of transport on the Estonian Railways, which is 47% less than in 2022.
