Leading Estonian transport and logistics companies participated in the largest transport fair in the Central Asian region, Transkazakhstan\Translogistika 2024, which took place on 9-11 October 2024 in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan. Estonian companies were represented as in previous years with a national stand.
By now, it has already become a good tradition to represent Estonia at transport and logistics services fairs with a joint national stand. This year, 11 companies operated at the stand: Port of Tallinn and the port operator of the largest container terminal, HHLA TK Estonia, Port of Sillamäe, Estonian Railways and Railway Logistics Company, Muuga Storage Terminal, Liwathon E.O.S, leading forwarding companies – CF&S, CreaFinn Eesti, GoForaward, Pakricahart, as well as a company presenting IT solutions in the field of transport with the ThingsData product. The joint appearance of the companies at the national stand promised to represent various aspects of the field of Estonian transport and logistics business.
The state, in the form of the Enterprise and Innovation Foundation (EIS), provided assistance for the participation of companies in Transkazakhstan\Translogistics 2024. Participation in the fair was co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund.
Active assistance was also provided by the Estonian Embassy in Kazakhstan. With the participation of Ambassador Jaap Ora, it was planned to organize business meetings with transport departments of other countries, representatives of Kazakhstani companies, who were interested in the possibilities of getting to know the field of Estonian transport. The New Silk Road, transport corridors from China, through Kazakhstan to Scandinavian countries and Europe – these are the areas of activity where Estonia can offer a complete spectrum of transport and logistics services at a high quality level and in terms of different types of cargo.
Fair TransKazakhstan is a place of presentation of transport services, which is attractive and interesting for leading specialists in this field from Kazakhstan, Asian regions and other foreign countries.
At the TransKazakhstan fair, a complete complex of branch solutions is demonstrated, from transport and forwarding services to provision of software and equipment necessary for cargo handling. During the 27 years that the TransKazakhstan fair has been held annually, it has developed into a central event in Central Asia for transportation, logistics, mechanical engineering and related industries.
This year, a record number of exhibitors participated in the exhibition, over 213 companies from 19 countries: incl. from Austria, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Germany, Georgia, India, Kazakhstan, China, UAE, Romania, Turkmenistan, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Switzerland.
The next exhibition TransKazakhstan 2025 is planned to be held on 1-3 October 2025 in Almaty.
