At CF&S, we recently completed a challenging transportation project involving the delivery of 7 industrial chillers, with a total cargo value of €2.1 million.
Each unit, valued at approximately €300,000, was transported on a dedicated open-platform truck. The project required careful planning, additional cargo insurance, and specialized unloading equipment to ensure safe handling from start to finish.
The operation was not without challenges:
- During the national holidays, one of the transport partners unexpectedly cancelled five pre-booked trucks. Our team reacted quickly and secured replacement vehicles, keeping the project on track.
- Shortly before loading began, the factory reported a technical issue that delayed operations. Trucks already en route had to be rescheduled, and arrival plans were adjusted to minimize delays and additional costs.
Thanks to close cooperation between the teams of CF&S Estonia and CF&S Latvia SIA, professional coordination, and a calm approach to problem-solving, all 7 shipments were loaded within three days and successfully unloaded within two days.
Projects like this demonstrate that in logistics, success is not measured by the absence of challenges, but by the ability to overcome them efficiently and reliably.
